Definitely worth it. Consider taking the train half-way down from Kalavrita and walking the rest (it's the most scenic and the walk easier). Just ask the driver to stop at one of the stations. You can also buy a pass which includes the train ride...More

We hiked from Kalavrita all the way down to the sea at Diakopto it was a wonderful hike. A long hike, 26 km, but with great views all the way. We took the train back, which was again a super nice experience.

I would recommend to get off the train in Zachalouro station and have a few hours walk in the Canyon. This attraction is not suitable for kids who do not like nature.

The trail is amazing and not that difficult. Watch out for the train (odontotos) near the tunnels because they are too small. Amazing view of bouraikos river

It was really an amazing trip, but the small couches aren't made for long people. Try to sit at the door opening. You will have the best view!
