Well signed on main road. Easy to pull over to park. Phenomenal to look directly across the road at the actual site having been into the modest museum/ exhibition and viewed the short film of farmers who own the farm which was unscathed directly in the path of the flow. A highly recommended visit which extends understanding and so enhances... More

Surprising, a beautiful gallery space with modern, contemporary original art in the middle of a town known for greenhouses. Helpful curator.

I had a great time visiting the art museum. The expo showing there was really good. There s a little coffee there, it was very cozy and warm The museum is very child friendly and has a very welcomming atmosphere.

Well what can I say! One exhibit = 2 x identical plain blue prints, just blue nothing else. another exhibit = about 6 x pieces of paper with indentations in them. Think Damien Hirst, Tracy Emmin type of stuff. Weird weird weird and certainly not art. My partner is a painter/artist and we are thinking of opening an exhibition ourselves!... More

I always try to see whatever is on display at this museum, since I live very close to it. The things that are shown are very different from time to time. This time it was a variety of things from stuffed birds to coloured bottles and black and white photos of things that were used in the so called Búsáhaldabyltingin,... More

I tend to come again and again there because every exhibition is new and it is like entering a new place every time. High quality art and very interesting, sepecially when you meet the artists or the manager of the museum who tells you about what you are seeing.

This is a very small town, with an amazing art gallery. Their art selection is high quality and well curated. They weren't technically open when we visited, but as there was a school visiting they allowed us to walk around too. Which was greatly appreciated.

As a fellow artist, I love to go to art museums and galleries spending hours enjoying the great art works. Sometimes I am disappointed, particularly by the smaller museums. That was not the case today. The Laguna Museum is a friendly, affordable, venue for viewing superior art. I especially loved the California Watercolorists exhibit. Today the museum also had sculpture... More

We dropped in here on a Sunday afternoon when it was a bit murky outside. It was pretty much deserted and quiet, but the exhibitions that were on were really good. There was a range of unusual and interesting Icelandic artists and we thoroughly enjoyed it, particularly the perspective on women in Iceland. I would definitely go again. There is... More

LA art gallery is by far the best art gallery in Iceland. Good varaiation of modern & classical icelandic art. New exibition every 3 months or so. The curator gives you a friendly welcoming & shows you around. There is a cosy café on the premishes. Location is easy ti find, next to the little theatre, across from the bus... More
