Sorry, we had a hire car. The power plant is just off Route 1, the main coastal road around Iceland; I would guess that any bus running from Reykjavik to Hveragerði or Selfoss would get you there.

The tour is really great. It sets you up to understand much of what you will see in this marvelous country. I can't remember the free gift so it must have been ...... I don't know. Memorable.
