We took the green trail and it took a bit shorter than suggested but still enjoyed it. The trail signs could be better as it was confusing at times but it didnt bother us that much. Relaxing walk without many people around which is always a good thing.

Stunning location to visit & so many trails to walk, cycle or run. Visited here in the early 80's and can't help feeling apart from extra trails it has gone backwards. Very under utilised with many options available to make it more amenable to the public. Super place to visit but with no on sight options for beverages etc make... More

Really nice place to have a stroll and clear your mind. Several well maintained walkways and plenty of signage. Can be a bit mucky so bring decent walking shoes and as always in Ireland a rain coat. Worth a visit

After visiting Portumna Workhouse we were encouraged to also visit the Forest Park. It boasts a wonderful central area and great walkways though perhaps they might mark the pathways better. Really lovely spot however for picnics.
