Not often do you find a foot, bike path that goes around the city lake. They had plenty of the area and markers every .25 miles.

At the dam you can catch a limit on jigs fishing right there on the bank. No need to fire up the boat and roam around the lake.

The lake is beautiful with nice walking and biking trails. The location is great -- right in the middle of town. There are playgrounds and picnic tables. Boats and bikes are available to rent. Everything you need for a great day outdoors.

Nice park with lots of activities available. Paved walking/biking trail, playground for children, picnic tables, and sand volleyball. Some of the old (non-paved) trails are still accessible if you want a 'wilder' walk. There are ducks on the lake. A great place for a walk.

I prefer more primitive parks, which aren't hard to find in the area. This is a good spot in the middle of everything, but is pretty populated and all the trails I found were paved.

Both. You have to have a valid state fishing license, and then you can buy a fishing permit for Lake Fayetteville. Thank you! Lake Fayetteville Management
