The weather was not at its best when I visited the beach, but I had a long walk from the beach to the strand, around the dunes and the golf. Nice views, but there are so many better place in the country.

My family enjoyed two lessons at the surfing school located next to the Strand Bar. They had a wonderful time under excellent supervision. They all ached after the first lesson, but went back for more!

We ran into a hot day and found this beach to be a haven. The road there lets you see beautiful residential neighborhoods with parking near the beach. Grab and ice-cream cone and people watch.
