It's really interesting to visit the art of another country. The most exciting find was the photography of Eduardo da Costa Teixeira Pinto. I wish his work was more accessible. It's a wonderful building and cool relief on a hot day.
This is an excellent example of what can be achieved in a provincial town where an old Dominican convent has been well converted to an art gallery. This gallery exhibits work by artists who were born in the area as well as other temporary exhibitions....More
An amazing modern art gallery with some historical exhibits as well. Outshone many larger galleries that we have visited and entry for one euro is a steal. The exhibition of Mario Vitoria's artworks was exceptional.
This is a fabulous modern art museum, in a lovely setting. 1 euro entry fee, into a wonderful courtyard setting. The temporary exhibition was very modern, and the perminant one, showing exhibition of cubist art and modern art upti 2013. Definitely worth a visit

Nice museum in older part of the village with contemporary art. Especially the first floor shows you a large range of works in different styles.
