We took the gondola up to 2100 meters and the sightseeing is breathtaking. Make sure to ask for the last gondola that is coming down, or otherwise you'll have to go down by foot.

It was an interesting experience. It is not in the center of the city, you have to take a walk for a while through the forest. You can arrive at Cota 1400 and Cota 2000 and back in Sinaia.

If you visit the city, you have to come up the mountain with the gondola. The view is spectacular and you don’t have to wait in line.

Really great ride up to the top of the mountain/peak. The cars are comfortable and you get great views when going up. Views are great when you are at the top. I walked back down, which I would also recommend if you are fit.

The gondola goes to the top of the mountain where there are many cell towers and so the energy is personnally disturbing since you are at less than 30 meters of the antennas ( it is a personal feeling). I didn’t feel in nature. Anyway,...More

You can take a private tour by car from Sinaia to Piatra Arsa Chalet. (See page Carpathian Tour Guide on Facebook) There, at Piatra Arsa, you can have an easy walk to Babele, 1h. It is a beaten track.
