A small and peaceful place, particularly after the sheer melee of Peles Castle. The old and new orthodox churches are beautiful, particularly the smaller old church in the quadrangle, now no longer used for worship. Worth a visit.

The monastery site houses a number of interesting buildings including the bell tower and the old church. It is in very good condition. The inside of the monastery is decorated with many frescoes.

An important religious site very well kept with a small museum and an old and beautiful church. The site is located 10 minutes walking from Peles castle.

Nothing particularly special. There are so many churches, Catholic, Orthodox in Romania. After visiting a few, they all look the same, including this one.

This is a beautiful place, you can visit the monastery or just the church (which is free) plus there is a souvenir shop which has the most amazing prices. I recommend you to visit this religious place when in Sinaia.

This was a very worthwhile stop on our way to Brassov from Bucharest. The highlight for me was the Biserica Veche" (The Old Church), dating from 1695. It is known for its wonderful wall paintings that were just finished restoring in 2016.

If you are going to Peles Palace, this is an easy inclusion and the extremely colourful breathtaking frescos are very rewarding. Thanks for the vote if you found this review helpful.

On the way to the castle, spent about an hour exploring this complex. Still an active community with nuns and priests around. The original church is in the rear courtyard, there is an old graveyard on the backyard of the residence section
