The Plaza Capuchinos is one of the most important plazas in Antequera and it is decorated with the Triunfo de la Inmaculada. The Plaza de Capuchinos has this beautiful landmark that calls attention because the column is very tall and the statue of the Virgin on top is very beautiful.

There are several monuments in the shape of tall columns in Andalusia and the Triunfo de la Inmaculada is one of them. The sculptor was Antonio del Castillo, who started it in 1697 and finished it in 1705. The work was given to him by the Capuchin Fathers.
