Even in the depths of winter!

Lovely little sandy beach, with all the facilities you could need. A short walk from the centre of Nerja

Admittedly we were in Nerja in February and the evening we went to this beach was quite cloudy and chilly, but it still had an air of desolation about it. Nearly all the beachside restaurants appeared to be closed or deserted and also quite a few on the promenade as well. I'm sure in the summer it might be better,... More

The beach is not the finest sand (see Cornwall for that) but it's a good size and carefully looked after, with sunbeds to rent, or secluded corners where you can spread your own towel for free. There are courts for beach volley ball and boats to hire. The water is sparkling, clear and clean, sometimes turquoise, sometimes blue. There are lots... More

If you go here in the height of the season don't rely on a sunbed. There are fully booked weeks in advance. The price can vary so if preodering shop around and book for the week.

This is a really good beach , plenty of sun beds . Restaurants and bars . Nice and clean . You can book your sunbed for the following day which is great . Great restaurant at the far end of the beach that does great piella and jugs of sangria . Can't remember the name but you can't miss it... More

A lovely maintained beach with bars , cafes and restaurants. We were there in Feb so not warm enough to swim. Found a lovely British Sports bar OLAS or Over Land and Sea. Was made very welcome by the staff. It is a bit of a hike back up to the main road if you have a disability but well... More

A beach has to be good if you like it on a February day in drizzle! I cannot imagine what this is like in high season , although the names of some of the cafes suggests that it is popular with English visitors. We were impressed by the coffee shop who embellish your cup of cappuccino with a mini ice... More
