Let's start fromt he most important thing: this is a must-see when visiting northern Spain. Period. The museum is great - surreal like Dali, very surprising and not like any museum you might have seen earlier. You will enjoy every second of it and won't be bored. It's also great for kids, since there are so may amazing things inside.... More

We visited the Dali museum years ago which was great. Decided to go again this year but the queue was so long changed our minds. On the way around the the museum going to the car we spotted an E ticket entrance which we would use in the future. But reading other reviews we would need to book months in... More

Dali Theatre-Museum is a amazing museum with almost all Dali artworks (paintings and sculptures). On an average, visiting the museum takes almost 2 hours.

A visit to Figueres and the Dali Theatre-Museum should be compulsory for those visiting the area. This is unlike any other art gallery. From the moment you walk through the door you will be captivated by sheer genius that is Salvador Dali. We drove from Narbonne, an easy 90 minutes on the motorway. Allow a good couple of hours for... A wonderful surrealist place to visist. But go early it gets very busy when the busse arrive. Dali's house near cadaques is much more intimate and they control visitor numbers. But you have to book in advance.

Surrealism at its best. Some of the art pieces might be offensive to the religious type. We spent 4 hours at the museum and that's barely enough time to see everything. We took the local the train there from Barcelona because we missed the high speed Ave train. It was a nice train ride.
