Being built in the mid-13th century, this church is one of the oldest brick buildings in the Lake Mälaren valley. Go inside for a few moments as it is as beautiful in the inside as it is on the outside.

Besides the waterfront, this is probably the nicest place to visit in Sigtuna. The church is constructed from brick. The stained glass, woodcarvings, and ceilings are beautiful. Free admission.

Oldest church in Sweden, notice how tilted are the walls! The graveyard also deserves a visit! The church is not always open.

The church was erected as a part of a Dominican monastery 1237. It is the first church in Sweden at that time built in brick. It is a fantastic church with extraordinary acoustics. It is a most if you visit the first capital of Sweden

It is not the oldest church on the premises but it is the most functional though it is built in the 1700th century. Go inside and hsve a look and then move on to the ruins of the old church 50 metres away

A typical Swedish village church next to the ruins of an older church. A visit takes only 10 or 15 minutes, but you get an impression of the atmosphere.
