It was a lovely walk from Blakeney to the Wiveton cafe. We purchased tickets to walk around the gardens of Wiverton Hall. I have never been so disappointed and felt cheated. The grounds are like a building site, expecting to see a beautiful sunken garden as you walk through the yew hedge, we were shocked to find an uncared for garden, the kitchen/walled garden was nothing special either. In my opinion not worth purchasing a ticket.

Family visit 2.30 pm. Appalling. When Wiveton hall launched the restaurant after Normal for Norfolk it was a great place to eat. considerate staff , well organised, excellent food. As time has gone by the standards and experience has diminished. Our visit 02 09 21 was appalling. Food served up in dull wax bowls 4 unappealing salads floating in a tasteless liquid . 2 portions chips cold, toasty sarnie ok £73.50 No staff. We has to collect the food , clean the table before and after eating. the grounds were shabby, unkempt , over grown .This is not part of the fascinating eccentricity that we have experienced in the past . Desmond you need to get a grip

Loved everything about this experience! The location is amazing sitting out in open nature with views reaching out to the coast line. Seating spaced out so very comfortable and relaxing. Covered space available too for n gorgeous little huts and a marquee area. It’s informal and friendly and so original in an age of endless chain cafes with the same old tired menus. The food is fresh and colourful and great value. Salads with various toppings are available I had the Wiverton with Goats Cheese it was 5 stars. We had such a great lunch we came back in the evening for dinner which was pizza and salad again 5 stars. We sat outside once more and watched the sun go down. Love love love this place.

Wiveton Hall Coffee Shop is a delightful spot to relax and enjoy a cup of coffee. The setting is beautiful, offering lovely views of the surrounding countryside.
The menu has a good selection of homemade cakes and light bites, all made with fresh, local ingredients.
The service was friendly and efficient, making the whole experience even more enjoyable. Perfect for a peaceful break while exploring Blakeney!

I really like this place, a superb place to stop off for lunch and refreshment. Nice places to sit outside when the weather is good including some sheds with seating. Nice to see the pig and the chicken with chicks too!
Great to be able to get a tasty coffee in a mug! Very nice cakes and lunch options. Not overpriced. I like the fact that this place has character and has not been spoilt as a ‘polished’ tourist attraction.
Look forward to be back! I want to try the walk from Blakeney to Wiverton, and also the themed food evenings and perhaps a garden tour!

We were staying in Blakeney and walked to Wiverton Hall Cafe for lunch with our dog. A 10 minute walk through Friary Hills.
We sat outside on a sunny, Sunday and the views are stunning. Very dog friendly. Clean toilets. We had the half salad bowls which were actually quite large portions and gorgeous. A lovely variety of salads, fresh and tasty. The cakes looked tempting but we were full ! Happy to recommend

To sit in the outdoors overlooking the countryside with lovely food. You will have to queue to order and collect food but definitely worth the wait. You might get to see the cows or even guinea fowl if you are lucky.

Our first morning in Norfolk and we needed a hearty breakfast 🍳. I loved the ‘Normal for Norfolk’ programme and really wanted to visit, the other half was less convinced thinking a stint on TV would have ruined it.
But it was truly fab, lovely colourful cafe, friendly staff, wide open spaces for the children and dog to run around in and the tastiest breakfast (the bacon is amazing) and coffee. We stayed so long we ended up with breakfast pudding as we couldn’t leave without sampling the cakes. On the side of the cafe is a sweet little shop with gifts and freshly picked fruits and running free you’ll find a parade of happy chickens 🐓
Well worth a visit!
