I visited this real sleep house a couple of times and every time the staff were friendly and helpful. My other half doesn't drink and there was no issue with her having a soft drink. It's great to see a local establishment promoting local beers. I'd definitely recommend it if you're in the area.

Great range of real ales and ciders in this little gem of a bar.
You are sure of a warm and friendly welcome. We have been three times now and always found a lovely selection of beers on tap even on a Monday or Tuesday.

Visited for the first time with high hopes but must have chosen a bad night! No atmosphere at all for a Saturday night. Nice quirky decor. Quiet, no music, people staring when we walked in. Played some games but got told to quieten down! We are middle aged couples do not young & raucous! So much for the friendly staff!! Had one drink and left. Won’t return.

We popped in for a quick one on a bitterly cold day and really enjoyed the mulled cider.
The boys were unsure which beer to have but were given a taster to try before selecting.
Lovely relaxed atmosphere and large selection of ales.

Started our evening of bar visits in the Nip! Always a great place. Had a pint of Coffee and cream stout. Niiice! Friends had various beers and everyone enjoyed them. Staff are always friendly and like a laugh. We ALWAYS come here when we visit the town from our village hut!

I have visited here many times & throughly enjoyed the beer. Small place from the outside but plenty big on the inside. Great range of ales & drinks. It's a shame he place is up for sale now.

In a town where the beer selection in most pubs can at best be described as meagre this place is a wonderful oasis. Great selection of keg, cask and cider. Owners are lovely and great atmosphere. Definitely go.

Great real ale boozer in the heart of KL. Friendly staff and locals with a fantastic range of ales. Really enjoyed our hour or so in here with friends on a recent Saturday afternoon. Highly recommend.

The Ale house has a big variety of Ales and Lagers that are available. The welcoming was very warm and a bit sarcastic which is also the theme of the location. Amazing on their part.
Thank you, and will deffinetly come back.
