I'm glad we hadn't made a special trip as the hall was closed due to a masonry fall when we visited. It's fortunate we're also members because there seemed to be no discount for that fact. There's not much to see in the grounds, but...More

Yes, there is scaffolding around the place, plus temporary toilets - but there is always upkeep on a centuries old country hall. All the amenities were open and it was a self-discovery tour of the hall and the chapel, located nearby. In the entry hall...More

We love coming here for a wander round the gardens and round the moat. The kids love running through the woods and we are now national trust members so we come all the time! Would definitely recommend.

Lots of interesting history and many friendly, knowledgable volunteers. Shame the house is not open at the present time, due to potential structural issue, but even so the place is magical.

Plenty of parking unless it rains. If it does, park in the village and walk through the church grounds. Otherwise the grass gets muddy. great staff and very friendly. The hall is like a castle with a moat and a bridge to get into. The...More

Certainly has the potential for great shots, guess you would need to contact the National Trust manager at the Hall.
