A small but very interesting place. Interesting to delve into the lives of the people that lived in that area. Just be careful of the steps in the cottage. The staff were very friendly. The little cafe serves lovely tea and cake xx

The staff who run this museum are the stars. They explain how to follow the route through the complex of buildings and serve good refreshments in the cafe. This is the surviving part of a whole district that portrays the life and times of the people who lived here when fishing was a major employer: an area with its own culture.

This is a small but very interesting and educational museum about life and hardships of the fisherfolk of Kings Lynn. The town models in the museum give insight as to how many "yards" the town was built up of and how little there is now remaining. A valuable resource for capturing a part of history and a museum that needs everybody's support.

This museum is steeped in niche, local history. Two of the original cottages of King’s Lynn’s North End still stand and they have been lovingly and diligently restored to how they would have looked inside. There is lots to learn and look at. I would say that it’s worth an hour of your time to learn about this important part of local history if you’re in the area.
