Previous panto's have been excellent, This year was a total disappointment. limited change of sets, far too much monologue from the limited cast. Children were asked to shout out for too many things to remember, The songs were borrowed from oliver twist with no original songs or recent chart songs we could sing along to. In particular the person playing the badie had a terrible voice, which grated so much we left early. limited special effects, bland performances of a mishmash cobelation which was neither enjoyable or fun, just sadly irritating. - Not worth the ticket price

We visited the cinema to see a theatre showing of Heathers.
The auditorium was clean, comfortable and a really nice place to visit. We were really impressed on arrival by the architecture of the building which is specacular.
The staff were very friendly and provided reasonably priced refreshments too.

We were treated to a lovely classical music concert here on Sunday afternoon. The building is a mixture of old and new. Good facilities and plenty of toilets to cope with the numbers.
The Norfolk Symphony Orchestra were superb. In all a thoroughly enjoyable afternoon.
Unfortunately when we returned to our car in the public car park in front of the Corn Exchange we had a parking fine. We hadn’t got enough coins to pay the £5.10 fee. So downloaded the parking app. It appears even though the payment said approved by the bank, it hadn’t gone through. Dreadful system! No contactless payment available. Beware!

We really enjoyed our night here. It is a small theatre which is perfect as not overbusy. We had drinks in the bar, which were reasonably priced and the staff were lovely.
They have seating outside as well as in the bar area.
Very nice old building with two screens for cinema as well as the theatre.

I am a disabled cancer sufferer. I paid for my ticket and receptionist was very helpful pointing me in the direction of correct location for me. However I am not in a wheelchair and needed to stand because of pain and problems with my hips. I found a spot to stand in to support myself by a wall. However a jobs worth usher said I could ot stand there and showed me to a standing place I could not see from. I felt very awkward and unwanted. I complained to a manager and she was even worse! She allowed me to stand in the original spot where I was out of the way but then proceeded to stand n front of me so I could not see. All around we're people with flash cameras taking pictures which was not allowed. Instead of doing something about this she watched me and when I took my phone out she stood in front of me again. I felt so harassed and n welcome I was in tears and left after 5 minutes of watching. If you have any special needs or would like a warm helpful welcome do not go here. I felt quite embarrassed. No discretion, everyone was looking at me struggling to watch and stand up and this manager was just a bully. It was an awful experience. I do not venture out much but I would not recommend this place. It was a disabled cancer sufferers worst nightmare.

BEWARE. Parking outside the theatre. The council charge for overnight parking (£1)
Sign on meter is very misleading it indicates at the top that charges apply upto 6pm (fairly normal for provincial parking) We got there early to shop (15:30) and put enough money in for 18:37 - After shopping, went for dinner and then to the show which was excellent. Whole evening ruined when we came out and found a parking fine stuck right in front of the drivers side of the windscreen. Went back to the ticket machine and underneath what we originally read it then went on about overnight parking. Very misleading for out of town visitors like us. Do they really think that we would have objected to paying just another £1.50 ?? if it had been made clearer.
We have appealed so we will soon find out if it is just a scam to mislead those that do not read the whole blurb and are unfamiliar with these unusual terms.

I brought tickets to see uB40 for my partner for his birthday.. We had seen them previously at Newmarket and had a fabulous time.. Venue opened at 7:30.. A guy DJ was on till gone 9!!!! Then UB40..... Not the UB40 we were expecting.. No Ali Campbell or astro or Mickey... Instead it was the brothers.. It seems we were not the only ones disappointed as a few people left..we did stay.. And made the best of our night.. I think the corn exchange should of advertised differently, making it clear which ones were playing. As I would now think twice before coming back 😢 very very very disappointed

We've chosen this panto over Norwich as it seems far more family friendly. Our grandchildren love it & the oldest one gets the jokes. This year is certainly more 21st century, with the special lighting effects. The costumes are as wacky as usual & the actors great, especially the 2 policemen.

Driving out of Kings Lynn, we came across the impressive King's Lynn Corn Exchange in the market place.
Much more modern than most of the buildings in the town - but still worth a look.
