We recently was part of a guided walk and one of the places we visited was Minster, from entering to leaving the visit was amazing. The guide was so passionate and knowledge not only in Minster but also Kings Lynn. It is certainly worth a visit.

Gorgeous flowers on approach to main entry. Lovely stained glass windows. Lots of items reflecting the former wealth and importance of the town.
Entry is free and it's well worth a visit.

Not the oldest church in Kings Lynn, yet well worth a visit. Good displays and explanations; impressive interior, indicating the wealth and charity of former merchants.
Historic and welcoming.

Open for private prayer at the minute. We went in to light a candle for Prince Philip. Seemed a lovely building and very old. Enjoyed the tide clock on the exterior of the tower. We will return when it is fully open

Lovely twin towers make up the Church and can be seen from miles out on the River Ouse. Part of the front facade intricate and pretty. Medieval brasses can be found dating from Hanseatic days showing great links with German towns.

Disappointing. After seeing so many beautiful buildings in town and learning about its wealth I expected the minister to be more highly decorated. There was a free leaflet but no infirmation on rose window. Largest brasses I have ever seen.

This is just a wonderful slice of history.
I especially loved the unique tide clock on the side of the Minster facing the water.
The Minster is in a great setting opposite the Guildhall

Covid closure made for a disappointing visit.
However it is a very impressive building in an interesting area of the town.

A really lovely place to visit, as with most churches, cathedrals and minsters there's some outstanding stain glass windows. Seeing the various flood tide levels over the years marked on the walls gives a real sense of the challenges to maintain and restore the structure of the Minster. Hope they succeed and restore it to full glory.

What a magnificent place for worship, founded apperently in 1101, it has both a large clock at the front on one tower and on the other a remarkable moon and tide clock! it also has the two largest memorial brasses in england, and should you look up the inside supporting pillars and think they seem to be leaning! well thats because they do!

Hi
Yes dogs are allowed and welcomed into the Minster, we do ask you to keep them off the carpeted area when a cafe is in progress; and that they are kept on a lead and under control at all times and that owners act responsibly and clear up any mess etc.
