As we were going to a nearby supermarket, we decided to go for a stroll through The Walks and easily parked on an adjacent road. The Walks is an extensive pleasant area to visit, with well kept grounds. Lots of squirrels around. There was what looked like a good play area for children. Well worth going to for a breath of fresh air.

My husband completed the Kings Lynn Park Run whilst visiting the area and it is set in this lovely park. Whilst he was enjoying his run I enjoyed a walk round the park. The run starts by the toilet and there is parking nearby in the multistorey car park. It was well organised as ever with a friendly bunch of participants and organizers. Reasonably flat course. The park is beautifully laid out and clean with a variety of areas to wander through. A little oasis of calm if you are in the area.

The Walks is a typical municipal open space, use for hosting events, casual ball games, feeding ducks and picnics. It is also an amazingly good space for the unemployed and unemployable to gather together with strong lager to talk about Chav stuff, football, weed, who's been arrested, who's got away with it, and generally swap stories and shoplifted items. The kiddies play area is a delight and, when open, the loos are well kept. If you are a middle income family you might be able to afford one of the delicious ice creams on sale, otherwise bring your own snack. Dogs are welcome, on or off lead, and the grass is cut often. Occasionally may be seen squirrels, ducks, copulating couples and birds. In winter one may marvel at the huge bunches of Mistletoe going high up in the taller trees.

This is a fine example of municipal open space at its most flexible and best.

the title of this place is perfect. We had a walk in the nice park which was very peaceful and enjoyable. The walks also has historical landmarks which you can read about on the signs there. There was also a river with ducks in which was fantastic. Good place for a walk and a picnic.

A perfect and safe park to take a long leisurely walk. Beautiful, well kept gardens. Plenty of seating, if required, too.

Historic, beautiful park even in the rain. Ducks, bridges and Brooks. Clean and free parking. There's a cafe in the park but you can only sit outside

Great green space in the heart of King's Lynn. Plenty of picnic places and well kept gardens. There are also tennis courts and the fascinating Red Mount Chapel
