This is a lovely area to visit. It’s on the Norfolk Coastal path and easy walking to several areas of note such as Holkham Hall. Lots of nice restaurants in close proximity. Seals at Blakeney Point a must to visit.

Miles and miles of perfect sandy beach, lovely for walking following the tideline or for families with children. As the tide goes out, it leaves huge pools of water just right for paddling or dogs to have a game in. Absolutely lovely!

Love it here so much....my fave place. Beautiful beach with fabulous views and gorgeous sand. Always clean too but gets very busy in the Peak season or a sunny weekend!

Beautiful sandy beach bordered by pine trees, there are a series of picturesque beach huts facing the sea, and with a significant difference between low and high tide meaning that there is even more to explore at certain times of the day. Given that there...More

The long causeway to the beach is well worth the walk as the open views across the estuary are beautiful. There are plenty of restaurants and cafes for refreshments in the town along with independent shops.

For those people less able to walk you can drive to a car park near the beach. Alternatively if it is running you can get the train to Pinewoods and walk a short distance to the beach. However I chose to walk along the causeway...More

Stroll the sands, have a paddle, watch the boats or the tide! So many beach huts, brightly coloured in the sunshine, dunes and channels and backed by a lovely stretch of pine forest. Get there by walking the mile from the harbour along the sea...More

Yes there is a chance to swim or to dip your toes in the warm shallow pools. Please be aware of the safety notices as the tides can be strong.
