Well worth the short walk to see the large ammonites embedded in the rock. You'll need to wear sensible shoes as the beach gets a bit rocky in places.

Difficult to walk on because of such big pebbles, but the only dog friendly beach we could find in season, the dogs enjoyed their swim though!
