Maybe we were unlucky but not much open when we went. Little menu choices for special diets and none of the shops seemed to be open

Well worth a visit to wonder round, see the Mill, we also saw a potter on his wheel. Lunch was tasty, quick and reasonably priced. You can get a beer or cider from the local brewery - the art gallery is excellent too.

This working mill is steeped in history both as a working flour mill and an electricity generator. The guided tour by the volunteer millers is full of information. How the mill operates as well as the historical changes that it has seen and experienced over...More

Visited the mill today & was given a tour by miller Ian whose passion for the project shone through his every word. Who knew there was so much to milling flour. A great job being done by all the volunteers on this challenge.

A working water mill what's not to like. The work that has gone into not just restoring the mill back to life but to get it making flour again after or this time is just brillant. We done a guided tour. I forgot the guides...More

I've been to a lot of watermills. Glad to have got that out of the way early - this is a nice clean example of a working mill, the staff/guides are knowledgeable and helpful, access is good - for a working mill going back centuries,...More

We were visiting a friend in the area and spent several hours in Lyme Regis. Walking from the car park we came across the mill and you can instantly hear the churning of the water mill wheel. We went in and were told there was...More

The mill is a bit hidden so you need to find it and we were glad we did. We got a free tour of the mill itself and saw how flour is made. There are a few other shops with art, homemade beer and cider...More

They do not have wheelchairs. However, the ground floor is easily accessible and has a chair so that you can view the working mill and the flow of milled flour. The further two floors are accessible by stairs only; although... More

The Town Mill is open 11am - 4pm every day. The only proviso is that it's run by volunteers, so there may be the occasional shift that is not covered.
