Visited Dinosaurland on a wet and cold Saturday in February. Nothing prepared us to the sheer volume of artefacts. This is the place if you want to know the difference between an ammonite, a belemnite and a trilobite. The questionnaire was a hit with our...More

The kids really enjoyed it, it's like a tardis, with loads of exhibits and lots of information to read too. Not just dinosaurs and fossils! We all learnt something and would recommend a visit, perfect for a rainy day.

A fun end to a day on the beach searching for fossils. So much to see and not too big. There is a little activity sheet for the kids and it fully engaged my 5 & 7 year old and drew their attention to lots...More

I loved this museum. The owner has built up a large collection of fossils of all varieties. In particular a great collection of ammonites. It is a very eclectic mix though. If you are expecting moving displays, an accompyaning phone app or anything like that...More

A must visit for the inquisitive, expert, novice or collector. Be warned though that if you are a collector then you will leave here with one hell of an inferiority complex. Quite incredible. Great stuff.

An amazing place well presented and laid out. A very large collection of fossils and bones which are all well identified.

This privately owned museum hosts a vast collection of fossils shown in an explanatory way. A number of exhibits come from the nearby Jurassic Coast and there is a good selection of specimens for sale. Dinosaurs form only part of the exhibition and some exhibits...More

The whole family loved this museum. It is stuffed with the most incredible fossils and dinosaur exhibits. Really well curated, there is so much to read, but also enough hands on stuff to keep the kids occupied. The quiz that you fill out as you...More

We went as a family, some with more interest in dinosaurs and fossils than others but we were all kept interested and engaged the whole way through learning as we went. The building is amazing and the amount of artifact they have is incredible.
