Lyme Regis Golf Club was founded in 1893 and is recognised as one of the finest golf courses in the South West. The course occupies a cliff top site with coastal views towards Portland Bill and overlooks the historic town and World Heritage Site of Lyme Regis. The condition of the course is the source of constant praise from visiting golfers and is to the credit of our team of expert and dedicated greens staff. Although on a cliff top plateau the course itself is not actually hilly and golfers can enjoy an exhilarating round of golf with some magnificent views. The All Day Breakfast Menu was ideal for our family of four. Dad had a large Full English, Mum went for Eggs Benedict with smoked salmon & the children both had 'small' English breakfasts (which still had six items!). There was a friendly atmosphere in the restaurant and the bar area. Would definitely recommend to other families, we saw that... More

Went for a lunch there. Beautiful grounds and nice restaurant. The food was very good and we have no complaints about that, BUT, £19.50 for a bottle of house Chardonaise!!! That is outrageous.

Whilst deputy captain of my club I called in at Lyme Regis Golf Club to arrange to play there on my captains trip. Lyme Regis being one of four courses we would play. The staff could not have been more helpful with my requirements. The course was in excellent condition and a great test of golf. On the Friday we... More

For the average club golfer this is the best course I have played. The views are amazing and there is good food & beer at the clubhouse

Visited this course on a sunny not too windy afternoon. The course is a great challenge, and would be different on a Windy day. Offered a game with a member who kindly showed me round which made the round more enjoyable. Staff in the Pro Shop were friendly and helpful, as were the staff in the clubhouse after the game.... Whilst the range is away from the course, this is a friendly and reasonably testing course. Being primarily for members, the 2-tee starting system (and ladies day) take some getting used to, but Tom and I love the course, with 8 an 16 being impossible for me to reach, the wedge game is called to the fore. A couple of... More

A lovely course even though it can be windy. The entire club has a very nice atmosphere and the food is particularly good.

One of the best golf courses of the South West. Challenging course with terrific views over the Jurassic Coast. It is a must play course. And the fish and chips back in the club house are to die for!
