If in Lyme you must walk the Cobb rain or shine, take the sea air and generally enjoy. Car parks nearby if you can get in but you must pay, they do not give change.

Beautiful Harbour and beaches. Quirky little Lyme Regis, the pearl of Dorset. It's just a shame there are so many people! Worth getting up early to avoid the throngs.

We walked on The Cobb yesterday and got splashed by a large wave - it was really most enjoyable. I particularly love the wide range of paving materials which show the ravages of me.

There is parking down by the Cobb but it gets very full and its expensive. The main car park for lyme is at the top of the hill quite reasonable charges under a fiver all day, but gets very busy in the summer months when the... More

During the summer Dogs are not allowed on the beach... however, they can walk with you along the promenade
