A nice walk up brick wall, don’t wear loose hats only woolly ones as they blow off easily. A breezy day, waves coming up high & frequently against wall. Nice to watch, but if planning on taking pictures don’t have your chips with you as...More

Lyme Regis takes you back to another era. Just as I imagined it with the rainbow coloured beach huts on the promenade to the narrow streets and independent shops. Everywere was dog friendly and a good range of cafes who all provided a dog water...More

I have always enjoyed going for a walk along The Cobb with family and friends when in Lyme Regis. It is a great experience, rain or shine! (Although avoid when it’s windy)

It is a permanent feature of Lyme Regis. A walk over ancient stones almost into the past. Fine views over the harbour towards the town and out into the English Channel. If I become more pretentious that this I need to be dashed against the...More

A bracing walk in the rain didn't stop us from enjoying the sunning views from the Cobb. Take a camera and have your own Meryl Steep experience!

Lovely sunny day when we visited Lyme Regis. Had a great walk down to the cobb. The Cobb is quite high to walk along, so anyone scared of heights might not like it especially as there’s no rails along it.

Whatever the time of year a walk along the Cobb is not disappointing, lovely views and lots of little places to stop and eat and drink.

A blustery day, made walking tricky, didn’t go up high cos of strong winds. Nice feature made famous by Meryl Streep in The French Lieutenant’s Woman
