It stretches from one end to the other. It has the sea on one side and land on the other. It's the location that matters. The fine Dorset coast is always worth visiting, with the section at Lyme Regis being punctuated by the Cobb, hence...More

Pebble beach there is a sandy part near the cob end very local to all Pubs Restaurants shops etc. Safe bathing don't think there is a lifeguard on duty. Choose a nice day you will not be disappointed

Had an amazing day on this wonderful beach, the sunshine helped on a late October day but also the beach is very clean. Lots of good places to eat nearby and also a handful of excellent pubs.

Clean beach. Water looked inviting. Some die hard went in. I will next time but with a wet suit. Water a bit chilly for me. Easy access to the beach and water. Lots of eateries nearby.

Lovely pebble beach with great views over Jurassic coast and the harbour and cobb. Great to sit on the promenade with a drink people watching or sea watching.
