It really is lovely around the Cotswolds - we've stayed in Bourton-on-the-water and visited all the others locally including Stow-on-the-wold, Bibury, Cirencester, Lower and Upper Slaughter and Tewkesbury. And off to more tomorrow.

Absolutely amazing... Our visit was with Steve, our guide-cum-driver, who had a very good knowledge about the area. To make things even more beautiful, it was raining lightly. We loved the villages, the serene environment, the green pastures, the beautiful houses, the thatched roofs. These tiny villages in Cotswolds are so green, neat, tidy and beautiful that if you don't... More

The centre is inside the old prison and the court room and cells are open to explore. There are also lots of information boards covering the Cotswolds with ideas in activities. It's a great place to stop as there is wifi, toilets and a cafe.

That's what my extensive research taught me as I prepared for our days in the Cotswolds. I was told very few tour buses venture into this small, quaint village, and sure enough we didn't see one. In fact, everyone but us seemed to be locals as we walked around the small main area where a few small pickup trucks had... More

Best way to see the Cotswolds is rent a car and take as much or as little time as you like! Plenty of B&B's along the way. We just winged it, and had a great time! Loved all the little towns, loved the people, walking the streets and reading the house names was incredible. I love the english doors, they... More

Tourists come from all over the world to visit the Cotswold countryside and they are certainly not disappointed. Each village has its own special charm and the people are warm and friendly. We spent three days in Cheltenham with friends and visited Burford, Stowe on the Wold, Broadway and Burton-on-the-water. Each village has a charm all of its own with... More

My husband & I were in London for 4 days & wanted to see the countryside as well as the city. We chose a day bus trip to the Cotswolds which we thoroughly enjoyed. We admired the lovely rolling green hills of the countryside as we traveled first to Burford, where we spent time having a look around this quaint... More
