Brilliant day out, all the action of the Vikings. Beautiful castle set on the hilltop with great views across the English countryside. Climb to the top of Salvin's Tower well worth the effort. Followed by a visit to Walkers Tea Room good food excellent service...More

Dogs are most welcome on any of our open days to walk around the gardens & ground. We ask they are kept under control and on a lead. With the exception of guide and assistance dogs we do not allow dogs in the Castle. There... More
