The Carding Mill Valley is where the tourists tend to congregate. Its a beautiful place and can be tranquil despite the visitors. Well worth visiting

Lovely spot, good National Trust cafe, also an NT shop, lots of parking, but can get very busy, particularly at weekends.

A lovely day out walking with the dog. Pay and display parking available only. Very busy on a hot day. Nice streams to splash in. We took a picnic and had a lovely afternoon.

Great walk up to the water spout from Cardingmill Valley. Lovely to see the wild ponies of the Long mynd too.

I visited the Carding mill valley three times in the space of two weeks with various groups/people. It can get busy on Summer weekends but it's easy to leave the crowds behind by walking up on to the Long Mynd. Fabulous views. There is an...More
