If you get the chance, do take a drive up to The Stiperstrones and along the Long Mynd. The views are freally spectacular. The air is so fresh and pure. When the heather is in flower, it must be so pretty. Just one word of...More

Had a very interesting and beautiful drive over the Long Mynd on evening. Luckily there wasn't much traffic as some stretches could be 'interesting'!

Literally the best walk ever. I fell in the river and saw a sheep. Will treasure the memories forever

Lovely peaceful walk up the Shropshire hills. Took around 2.5hrs to complete the 5 mile loop. There's other walks for all ages and ability. Well kept path and nice to see wild horses roaming around.

We had a walking holiday in the area and we walked up onto the Long Mynd. The views are wonderful and once you are up there it is easy walking with good footpaths

We walked from our rental cottage in church stretton down to little stretton and then up to pole bank. Great weather and good views. Not many people on our route until we got onto Pole bank itself

This is a National Trust site which is good for walking with great views across the countryside. Some of the trails are slightly rugged but not too challenging. There is a waterfall and a reservoir in the hills where hardy locals swim every day! There...More

I have only been to the Long Mynd on this occasion, so don't know of any other ways to the top. I didn't find it too scary, there are lots of passing places and a few parking places. Well worth the trip if you can brave it... More
