Nicely preserved and nice detail given to the visitor in its history. Some huge trees in the grounds and full of autumn colours.

Expected a quiet, well preserved photogenic historical village reflecting the much promoted image of Cranford of TV fame etc. Actually it's totally spoiled by parking and traffic. Very disappointed. Visit Bradford on Avon instead. Abbey was mostly closed but we were not told. No notices...More

Without question Lacock Abbey is an impressive building with a long and interesting history, but the lack of information and direction within the building left me disappointed and let down. The National Trust have provided more information on an empty derelict cow-shed than than this....More

My husband and I spent the afternoon at Lacock; I’m really into photography whereas he loves to read the signs and learn about the place. Lacock ticked both these boxes and some! An excellent place to go for a few hours, presumably in any weather....More

Been to this place many times, didn't seem as much to see indoors as I remember. New toilet block and new cafe within the Abbey. Very good coffee.

This is a lovely building with an amazing history. The room guides were very knowledgeable and were keen to share their knowledge. It was also interesting to hear how the building has been used recently. A must if you are in the area.

It is £12.70 per adult to enter as it is a National Trust property, but is well worth the money. Thirty minutes isn't enough time really unless you skip lunch and run. It is a wonderful place.

Yes National Trust members park free in official car park & entry is free to The Abbey. Great pub nearby called The Rising Sun.
