Good walks available, easily followed routes with good signage. We went on two walks with our schnoodle Ted and they are very dog friendly. I also did some of the red cycle route one morning, I managed 50% of the way round, I felt as...More

Cycled through here on one of the routes. It looked like a popular and well organised cycling area. Stopped at the café for coffee and cakes. Good visitor centre and shop, plenty of parking, play area, cycle repair and sales shop.

We (including our two dogs) thoroughly enjoyed our time spent here. There's a range of walks and cycle paths for all levels of fitness and the scenery is breathtaking. We stopped off at the visitor's centre for coffee and a piece of apple shortcake, which...More

We can highly recommend Kirroughtree - there is a lovely visitor centre, cafe, shop and bike hire. We decided to do the 'strenuous' 7km walk which we thoroughly enjoyed. It wasn't actually a strenuous walk as such, but of course it depends on your own...More

Lovely area for dog walking and biking! star gazing at night as well. The bike shop was very handy when my husband had an issue with the bikes on his brakes. Will certainly visit again. Amazing that you can use the amazing facilities and biking...More

Loved Kirroughtree Red route, just over 10 miles of fun trails,12 of us visited who are regular MTB riders and the Red route didn't let us down, tough and challenging in places fast and flowing in others, on a parr with Glentress for me.
