Just a small walk from the resort. The water is absolutely amazing and if you like to see the planes coming and going it's a thrill. And you can enjoy lunch at the palms.

Our condo is part of Maho Beach. We never get tired of watching the planes land and takeoff. More interesting though, is watching all the people that come here to witness the planes landing about 40 feet over there heads. There is everything here at...More

great views sand is so soft water is great. Sit along wall that separates the sand and street right in the middle of the runway for best pictures

To watch the planes landing and taking off was a great experience, except that this beach is too small and too crowded. People need to be very cautious when venturing near the gates. It's too dangerous. Please, keep your kids safe.

Make sure you go around 1230 pm til say 4pm local time to see the big planes landing and taking off. The water is also very warm but drops off fast. We had a great time and got some great pictures also.

Maho beach is where you go to watch the planes land/take off on the island. They fly directly overhead. And watching the people try to withstand the wind when the planes take off is hilarious. I've seen so many people get blown over because they...More

Love to see the planes so low when landing. It's not for kids who can't swim. A bit deep 5ft just beyond the sandy shore. What're is a beautiful clear turquoise. I was a guest at an all inclusive resort.

As an avid fan of aviation, this had to be the highlight of our trip to St. Martin. Make sure you do your homework and check what time to expect which flight. Otherwise you might see small airplanes only. The largest aircraft was an A340...More

We asked what the high season was here on the island and the driver told us April-November. We are here in July the low season right at the end of the runway and see about 8 jets a day and about as many smaller jets. It is... More

the wave at Maho Beach were very strong when we were there. So did not see any jet ski around. Maho beach is not that big of a area too. Also, St. Marteen is not like a "jungle" island so I am not aware of any zipline place?
