The shrine is interesting but what really impress people are the magnificent panoramic views. Also worth a visit are the tiles panels in the new church depicting Saint Benedict’s life episodes. Enjoy!

Very peaceful place! The room with a balcony was great to gaze at the stars. Service was outstanding and the food was much better than expected! I can't wait to visit again! 🤗

It is a cute church. It is a Basilca of Sao bento. The area is cute. It is in a small village. It is historical. You need to buy the book to know the history of the church.

Ancient pilgrimage place devoted to the founder of Benedictine congregation. Lots of devoted visit asking for health miracles. Despite the religious leit motiv it is a place with a superb view. Worth the visit if near by. Very popular and folk market too.

Two churches to visit- Older above the larger more recent construction built for large pilgrimages. There are beautiful views from the area around the church and lots of stalls selling souvenirs and food.
