We were in Wester Ross for nine days and everyone recommended the Corrieshalloch Gorge. The walk itself is very short and easy and the waterfall is impressive but we did much more rewarding trails in the area. If you drive by it is worth a...More

I only found this place after coming off the mountains in July and getting a lift back to my car from a very kind local lad from Ullapool. He stopped and showed me the Gorge. I fell in love with it. I had to stop...More

Worth the walk down to the suspension bridge overlooking the gorge and the falls. Only six people allowed on at one time....as it does tend to sway a little when you walk on it! A really good experience for young and old alike! You can...More

We also did the circular walk from the bridge. Took about 30 minutes. Beautiful gorge. I don't like heights but found the bridge easy to walk across

Surprised this place isn't better known than it is! Very impressive views and what looked like an 80m drop to the bottom, maybe further! The waterfall falls obliquely in a steep descent over several descents. Very impressive mosses and ferns abound. Little in the way...More

Heading out of Leckmelm, where we were staying, we were past the Gorge before we realised it was there. Fortunately, it was still light and dry on our way back, and a good reason to stop on the way back to stretch our dogs legs....More

This was a real surprise. Walking from the car park at the top and pottering down the path to the bridge, nothing can prepare you for the sheer depth of the gorge - it took me completely by surprise! I hate heights so crossing the...More

There are no restrooms nearby at all. As the previous person said probably the nearest restrooms will be Ullapool.

No more than 10 minutes. I visited the place with a 3 year-old. I hope this helps.
