We hired David instead of doing a boat tour when we were on Oceania's Isles and Fjords cruise. David was outstanding. He wore a kilt with a shirt saying "I love Scotland" on the front, and even waded into Loch Ness to place his hand made 'monster' in the loch so we could have a photo op with Nessie. He... More

We were booked on a cruise ship calling at Invergordon and were getting a bit desperate about how to useful spend a day without going on one of the cruise ship trips so decided to book David. Our itinerary was changed at the last minute but David was still able to oblige. We had a great day, David found an... More

We booked a tour through David McLean at Mountains to the Sea (www.mountains2sea.co.uk). David was an excellent host and my wife and I and another couple spent a great day touring the countryside and sights. He picked us up at the cruise ship and we toured the Invergordon area stopping to see Lock Ness, Beauly Priory, Culloden Battlefield, Cawdor Castle... More

Our family of four had a fantastic day from the port of Invergordon with David. He was a lovely and interesting man that took us to all the sights that we requested as well as additional ones on the way that we absolutely loved. We never felt rushed and David's timing and suggested order of the sights was suburb as... More

David of Mountains2Sea made a hugh difference to our visit to Glen Affric. He drove us around in his very comfortable van, and took us to some some scenic walks which would have been impossible for us to know and find. He is a very punctual, gracious and pleasant guide who took care of our requests and supplied us constantly... More

My husband and I and another couple we travel with had a great day when we went out with David. While all the cruise ship buses went to the usual spot to see Loch Ness, David took us to a quiet place with a perfect view. He drove us to a wonderful pub for lunch. The pub gave us free... More

This was my first visit to Inverness and for that matter to Scotland itself. In fact I had no prior information about Mountains2Sea Pvt Tours. Since I was travelling with a kid, I preferred to go for a private cab and looked for options in the internet. I had couple of options but was attracted by the warm communication I... More

Thank you so much taking my Aussie friends and I on such a fantastic tour of the Highlands and west coast... we all had a fantastic day out, and I'm sure it had nothing to do with the wee dram! My favourite part was the high road (Bealach Na Ba?) and the views over to Skye on the way down... More

My son arranged the visit while I was in Inverness so I could see the 'real' Highland's. Within a few minutes we had left the city and seeing sights and places I didn't know existed. This isn't a coach tour, ferried from one gift shop to another, this is a personal guided tour which is tailored to you. The only... More
