Spent many hours walking, relaxing and taking in the scenery on this beach. Miles of sand and beauty.

This beach is gorgeous, too bad that it is not warm enough to swim in. The small beach you pass on the road going there is equally picturesque. We spent some time walking around and saw a lot of washed up crabs and sea stars.

Miles of endless white sand, beautiful turquoise water in good weather, and spectacular views of the North Harris hills. It's at the end of a single-track road (with passing places). There is a car park (and toilet block) but the car park fills up rapidly...More

This has got to be up there as the most beautiful beach you could ever find. Even on a wet and windy day it is a special place but in the sun you wont find a more beautiful place.

One of the most beautiful beaches of the Scotland with sand for miles. A wonderful place to visit even if the weather is too cool for a nice beach day. It's a must see.

Amazing on a sunny day. Even in July, bracing in the breeze. Definitely need a wet-suit for more than a quick dip in the gorgeous looking water.

Gorgeous beach, never crowded, the colour of the water is amazing. Truly worth a visit. Weather was kind at our visit but would love to experience this in all its moods.

Just too good not to visit if on Harris. Paradise! Good parking and a short walk to a vast empty beach. Toilets by the parking.

A wonderful beach to visit. Miles of pristine white sand and very few people around. Views are out of this world and facilities are very good indeed. Whether you want to be active or just sit and stare, this is the place to be.

We stayed at Borve about 15 miles North of Stornoway which was excellent. You have the choice of the hotel or a 2 bedroom cottage for self catering or eat at the Hotel, meals were amazing . Hope this helps x
