What a truly fantastic place to visit over the Christmas period from 1st November to 6 January - every room decorated to perfection - all 52 of them. Our host Paul took the tour, he has a brilliant personality and you also learn about the history of the house and surrounding area. Each room has its own character and the... More

22 of us went on a WI trip from North Wales. We first had a fabulous hot buffet at the village hall provided by fingers and forks. Paul the owner showed us around his fantastic home of 52 rooms, each room was decorated for Christmas each with a different theme. He and his wife are avid collectors so a trip... More

Each room of this amazing house boasts its own lavishly decorated Christmas tree. Every room is accessible. The history of the house is intriguing and our guide very knowledgeable. So much to see. The gardens are viewable in the summer months.

Every review will try to explain what they have seen and experienced, but they all tell you very little. You just have to visit and see it for yourself. Then smile and think about it for some months after and then promise yourself that you will visit again. And then re-visit. Go on; do it!

The 52 rooms were decorated for Christmas and each room bought a new pleasant surprise. The work and love put into this house is amazing and we came... More
