I would definitely recommend doing the fossil dig as opposed to just visiting the museum. You get driven from the centre out to their secret dig site, where you get to help excavate (bring sun screen and bug spray). Mostly you find marine microfossils, and...More

Really interesting collections of dinosaur remains, great gift shop and even live ancient salamanders. Also a great movie about ancient sea creatures.

Has lots of very unique fossils. Some replicas, some original. If you or your kids like fossils, this is a great place to visit . It is also affordable at $18 for a family of five!

We took a little detour from Winnipeg on our way home to visit the museum, and it was a great decision! I absolutely loved it, especially the fossil digging app. There is free wifi, so if you download the app you can scan the pictures...More

Hello! Admission tot he museum is $8 for adults, $5 for children ages 5-17, free for children under 5. A 1/2 day fossil dig tour is $65 for an adult and $55 for children 10 and up with adult supervision.
