Head to Wasaga Beach when the weather is nice. New restaurants and kiosks opening up now daily. Longest fresh water beach. The sand is always being groomed especially after storms have wrecked havoc on them. Camping close by and several attractions, including mini putt and...More

We visited mid-week off season on a pretty cold day so I can't say much about the liveliness of the area as most everything was closed and other than our party there were 2 people on the beach! That said, the beach is a very...More

It's true - miles of genuine sandy beach. Beer, wings, and ice cream nearby. All you need. Sure, the water is on the cool side but we're Canadian, eh.

I had not expected to see such a spectacular view before I went there. The beach was covered by snow, which amazed me. A must-see when you go to Blue Mountain.

The town of Wasaga Beach does have fireworks at dusk on July 1st. I do not have the exact location, if it is at the actual beach.
