Nice little break from the art shops

Not overly refined chocolate but certainly better than commercial items. Wait time can be quite lengthy when we went on more than one occasion.

Poor Attitude in a Overpriced Yuppie Money Grab place. We drove here from La Malbaie to visit the area, enjoy some chocolate and take the chocolate tour. When we arrived at the premises we were shocked at how small this place was. We should have known that this was a case of advertise like hell in all publications and take... More

If you don't serve breakfast, please say so and I'll go some place else. No I felt very unwelcome. The food was also not as expected.

We had hard ice cream (Pistachio) and soft (dipped in 72% Belgian chocolate). We particularly love dark chocolate. Both delicious for dessert! If you like good chocolate, I believe that you should pay a visit. They have different dipping options for soft ice cream (caramel, different chocolates...). The lady at the counter was nice.

We fancied a snack so popped in here for delicious homemade icecream for me and my friend and some chocolate with nuts in for another friend.

I had been craving hot chocolate so was happy to find a place that had a hot chocolate bar with 10+ varieties. My husband had the Azteque and I had the Automne, and both were delicious and nicely spiced. They had a promo where you get 2 chocolates for $1 with each hot chocolate. The chocolates were very high quality,... More

While visiting Baie St-Paul for few days, my friend and I decided to go somewhere to eat dessert. While walking on Rue Saint Jean Baptiste, we saw Chocolaterie Cynthia and decided to try it. We both ordered chocolate waffles, a coffee and a hot chocolate (too much chocolate... I know :) ). From where I was sitting, I could clearly... More

If you love chocolate, you have to stop here. Nice selection of hand made chocolates and excellent service. Expensive but a special treat.

The chocolate is not that great, the taste is very similar to Baker's chocolate (probably that's what it is). It lacks a certain refinement. Prices were a little higher than last year.

Cynthia greeted me and I told her my French wasn't that good. She turned her back on me and started arranging stuff on shelves and ignored me while I looked around. So I left. Every other person in Quebec, all the way to the Sagenay, made an effort to speak to me in English even while I fumbled badly in... More
