Did this in November 2017. In my opinion, this trek is way better than Fitz Roy and Laguna Torre. It is easier to hike and you get a view of both Fitz Roy & Cerro Torre on a clear day. Trail isn’t as crowded as...More

Don't miss this walk. You need a bit of prior training to do this comfortably. The views are incredible.

This hike is 20km roundtrip, but not much more difficult than to Laguna de los Tres. However, significantly fewer people undertake this hike for some reason. While the views from Laguna de los Tres were amazing, the views from here are even better. You can...More

This trek is so worthwhile. Up at the top, in a clear day, you will have the very best view of Cerro Torre and Cerro Fitz Roy together in a beautiful angle you just don't achieve from walking up to their respective lagunas. The hike...More

Loma is a sensational walk with incredible vistas. We went in early September, which is still considered winter in these parts so there was still plenty of snow around. The walk there and back is steady elevation gain, with less steep pinches than other walks...More

The hike up to Loma del Pliegue Tumbado is a lovely gradual climb to a great vista point for looking at Mt Fitzroy and – if you are lucky – Cerro Torre. Don’t drink from the streams lower down, as there are animals grazing. Higher...More
