Be sure you see this majestic site in the early morning so the sunlight lights the faces. It's easy to walk all the way around this site.

This was our favorite place on the island. We visited this place four times in three days. The best times to visit this place are early mornings to watch sun rise behind the Mauis and in the late afternoons when the Mauis are lit up...More

This is why you come to Easter Island. There are 15 restored Moais here, with a dramatic backdrop of the ocean. Absolutely amazing. About twenty five minutes by car or scooter from the main town Hanga Roa, but it feels very remote.

This is an interesting place. It is beautiful of course, but it is also interesting if you take a closer look at the moais (number of fingers, face shapes and expressions, etc). Great place and you cannot miss it!

This is the "postcard spot" when you think of Easter Island. Dramatic brackdrop of the sea and cliffs framing the 15 restore moais. Absolutely amazing and you cannot leave Easter Island without coming here.
