If you are in town, you could visit this small house of Bolivar at el centro and learn the history. It doesn't take long to finish the tour and listen to the tour guide to tell you the history. However, be careful and be safe...More

Guided tour provided by college students. Captivating and interactive story telling by getting visitors to participate by asking questions. I learned quite a bit about Simon Bolivar's last days. Small museum. Can get quite hot since there is no A.C.

In downtown Caracas almost everything is ugly except for this place. The set up is good, the art is good and the building is in great conditions.

A few interesting exhibits in here. No English translations which didn't really bother me but which would put off some tourists to whom this place aimed.

I visited the house back in 2011, and there is some great pieces of history here, the house isn't too big, or commercial. The only down side is due to lack of Tourism in Caracas, there isn't a single word written in English here. Either...More

An interesting museum devoted to aspects of the life of Simon Bolivar. I found the exhibit on the exhumation of his remains to be quite disturbing.
