Given that it was the rainy season we expected the game to be dispersed and hard to find; not a bit of it. We saw a great variety of game We almost tired of seeing male lions The birding too was very good The highlight was being close to two male lions each roaring in succesion

I think because there has not been a lot of rain, the Delta was rather dry, we were lucky to see a lot of game. We had a wonderful guide, called Chemical, no effort too much to show and explain us.

The Moreno Wildlife Reserve proved to us that we made a good decision going there. Our guides were very learned with the Bayei culture and the contemporary life of the reserve. In the past, when a boy turned 18 he had to kill a lion and bring the head to prove his virility; nowadays lions and other animals are safe... More

Moremi is a beautiful reserve teeming with wildlife. I went with Letaka Safaris mobile camping. The services of a good guide really do add to the experience. Our guide Gee was amazing. He could read the animals and predicted their behaviour so well that we saw so much more than we would have if we had been self driving. During... More

I have been to moremi the second time now and I love this reserve! Third bridge has very beautiful camp sites, a lot of wild life around. e.g. A giraffe came to our camp site at 3.30am to grase at the tree on the site and stayed until 5.30. xanaka also has a very nice view over the waters and... Moremi has miles of wonderful tracks to explore. You must have 4 wheel drive and a GPS that is reliable as it is extremely easy to get lost, with tracks splitting off and detours unmarked. The bird life and animals are plentiful and the terrain varied and interesting.

Botswana has some incredible reserves and this is easily one of the best. Along with Chobe National Park (especially Savuti side) and the Okavango Delta, this is the best place to visit for the true wildlife enthusiast.

We drove thru Moremi Concession extensively during our stay at Khwai tented camp. We had to check-in with passports at the office before entering. They sold little crafts but only take cash for their hand made baskets and jewelry, etc.. On our game drives we saw leopard (2 places, one was more white, one was more brown), lions- they were... Going to Botswana has been a dream for years, and I was not disappointed. Lions (mating), giraffe, wildebeest, leopards, antelope of every sort, and elephants...lots of elephants! This is an amazingly unspoiled, remote and wild place. The roads are sandy with large pot holes, so be prepared for bumpy, sandy rides!

We had a magical time at the Moremi Wildlife Reserve. We stayed in the wild, in basic, but sufficient camps set up by our guides from the Audi camp, no fences or anything else keeping the animals away! :) Did many game drives and saw everything there was to see, including lions lying in our car's shade and a beautiful...
