Visited this as part of a cycling holiday. The lake is nice, with little souvenir shops around it, and an interesting diving platform if you're brave!

if you like the tourist option with loads of tiny shops with loads of souvenirs (all the same) and clingy sales girls, this is your option. The lake further up the hill is much more beautiful.

We stopped at Lac Andraikiba en route from the volcanic lake to Tana. It was peaceful and quiet, some cattle grazing along the shoreline. My guide and I went out on a short sailing tour in a questionable boat with just a small leak in...More

We cycled around the lake early morning when all was quiet and had the lake almost to ourselves. Very nice to cycle or walk around.

The area has fallen a bit apart and seems worn down. Small booths are available with gem stones for sale. The lake has an interesting story.

Only slightly spoiled by the vendors, but they really need business because they did not have many tourists visiting, so didn't really mind.

Briefly visited this lake on the way to Lac Tritriva, a superb crater lake and a better lake to visit. This lake is more for the locals out for the day from Antsirabe and is pleasant enough but not really worth the time of you...More
