We visited this garden in the late afternoon, about 5pm. It is more or less a circle built into the ground, with a nice mill overlooking the site. The garden is very beautiful, and especially in the afternoon, the light is perfect for taking pictures....More

This place is like being on a different planet - fantastic and so interesting. You step through the gate into a landscape from a sci-fi movie set.
The place is really made beautiful, although our son of 13 year old was not impressed. My wife was pleasantly surprised, because she knows a lot of the cactus/plants from her birthplace.
The whole site is beautifully arranged, the mill itself is worthwhile entering, both for the view from the top, but also for a close look at the mill's gear works. The cafeteria's snacks are excellent and the draught beer nice and cold!
