Beautiful .

Weather was terrible but what we saw we liked. Wasn't hard to find but I think it's a local secret. Would live to go back sometime for a day of beachcomber.

We drive down from Lunenburg to Carters Beach every summer to stroll on the white sand beaches and take photographs. The water is a distinct aqua marine, much like the tropics. Walk all the way to the south end to get the best views,

Excellent beach with a very flat and long beach. Very nice fine sand beach..with nice views. The beach is full of small jelly fishes which get washed ashore.. Really hoped there was a information board explaining what those are.

Especially after the school year resumes; this a beautiful expanse of beach with calm waters. Very dog friendly and very clean. One if my favorite spots!

My wife and I just recently went to Carter's Beach. She had never been to a beach before and I hadn't been to this beach ever. We got there and loved every bit of it..white sand..clear warm water..hardly any people. We cannot wait to go back again.

My mother lives on Carters Beach Road so I have been going there for 35 years. It is rapidly being despoiled by careless tourists. People park their cars so residents cannot get out of their driveways, leave trash on the beach and even stop to urinate and worse on properties along the road to the beach. I imagine they do... It's a tricky spot to get parked but once u get to the beach it's all worth the bit of a walk. Sandy beach that stretches on, it's almost tropical . Love it.

Went last weekend (August 2016), white sand and crystal clear water. The only two downsides are: the water is extremely cold (you should plan on going on a very sunny day) and the parking lot is very small. Although, you can park on the street, which is not a far walk at all. The beach is quite long and doesn't... More

Went there for a family day involving several of us and had a very nice time. Beautiful white sand and places to explore. We found some sand dollars and enjoyed the water. There is a portable outhouse which is convenient. I will definitely go back.

This beach was beautiful. We visited on a warm misty day. The water is super clear but also super cold in July. The last few days were so hot and muggy it would have been an awesome cool down. The fog made the beach seem almost surreal.
