Wow what stunning views

Wish I ha a movie camera running the entire length of the route. Ideally traveling by your own vehicle would allow you to stop and walk some of the gully ' s.

Do not go on a tour as they are too expensive. We hired a car for 4 days .3 nights and could se everything at our leisure.

The whole region of Salta is worth your time. With a tour guide we covered most of the region, and there is almost a surprise after every corner. Bring enough space in your camera/phone, you won't have problems finding good shots or selfies opportunities.

Traveling from Salta to Cafayate through the Quebrada has to be one of the most scenic drives I've ever taken. The colors, textures and shapes in the canyon are a truly sensory event! I thought that a day tour would be the best way to experience it but I was wrong. It left me wanting more. The day tour began... More

I love this road.... is one of the most impressive rock formations I know in all America. It is worth a visit, with time to enjoy the different and surprising rock figures.

After we had passed Quebrada de Humahuaca, we could hardly imaging that there could be a valley more breathtaking. Cebrada de las Conachas is breathtaking, we couldn't stop stopping and watch der - amazing, what a weak word.

A must do in Cafayate. You'll find the best views here. Make sure the tourist guide tells you about the story which is great too.

Road 68 between Cafayate and Salta offers you many beautiful if not bizarre landscapes. If you take this road also take your time. You are forced to stop many times. If you think you just made the best picture, there's a better one around the corner. Don't stop and take a picture and drive on, but park your car a... More

A must see location when visiting Cafayate. One passes through on the way to or from Salta. We were not expecting such a spectacular sight at all. The fun part is that you're driving right through the canyon.

Driving through the Quebrada is one of the many awesome natural geological beauty experiences Argentina has to offer. However, this is one of the best, with the light changing as dusk starts to fall bring out the formations and colours amazingly! Towards the Cafayate side there are many labelled viewpoints and formations (Devil's throat, tres cruces, obelisk, etc) which vary... More
