We really enjoyed this route that took us through wonderful, natural sandstone landscapes as well as specific phenomena such as the ‘windows’ and the ‘amphitheatre’. Also interesting to see the seam of sea shells (from a distance) that unlocked the history of this amazing panorama....More

An incredible piece of nature. We went by car from Salta and it was incredible how the landscapes were changing every 30km. Once you enter to this place, all the colours were outstanding! We were amazed. A place you don't have to miss!

In the middle of the mountains one can see the ancient shells from hundred or millions of years ago, when that part was under the sea.

IMO, you don't really need a tour company, just a sense of adventure. How long are you staying? Rent a car for the freedom to go where you want. Although they are more expensive than the States. Try Cactus Rentals - they... More
